Shalom ya’ll! If you couldn’t tell from the greeting, I am not from the Northeast. I was born and raised in Durham, NC as a proud Duke Blue Devil fan. I am a current junior at Brandeis, and I am majoring in Russian Studies with a double minor in Politics and Islamic/Midlde Eastern Studies. Before BJEP, I spent two summers working on Shira (music) staff at Camp Ramah in New England as a songleader. I spent last summer studying Russian intensively for 8 weeks at an immersion program located at Middlebury College in Vermont. During the school year, I work routinely in the Brandeis Precollege Programs Office and also lead children’s high holiday services at a synagogue in Milton, MA. This is my second year at BJEP and so far I really enjoy it! A fun fact about me is that I sing in and am the Business Manager of Brandeis VoiceMale, Brandeis’ premier all-male a cappella group.
