Parent Learning

At BJEP, parents can learn, too. In coming together, parents spend time with like-minded folks who are educating Jewish children. While our kids are in class, we explore topics relevant to modern Jewish lives in an inclusive, comfortable setting where we are encouraged to voice our opinions and share our perspectives. We leave each class with new ideas for ourselves, and even more importantly, we discover what we want to teach our children.

This 6-week course offered by Hebrew College and CJP is a great way to learn about Judaism while meeting other parents and getting parent support.

Taught by Rabbi Hillel Greene, who is an educator at Gann Academy in Waltham, MA, he formerly served as a rabbinic advisor and Jewish chaplain at Boston College and Northeastern University. He is a graduate of Columbia University and was ordained in 2014 from the Rabbinical School of Hebrew College. An avid reader, Greene is slowly working his way through the complete works of William Shakespeare.
